Journals for Philosophy

These lists are based on the list of philosophy journals as published as part of the project 'Quality indicators for Philosophy'. For 16 sub-disciplines in philosophy a list of relevant journals has been created and a list of general journals, relevant to philosophy as a whole.

Practical remarks:

  • In most cases the name of the journal is a link to the database that gives access to the most current issues of the journals. When older volumes are online available via another database or in paper in the University Library, a link is added in the description. 
  • Only the journals available via the Erasmus University Rotterdam or available in Open Access are added in this guide.
