What happens to my account when I leave the EUR?
The University Library only removes RefWorks account on request. However, you had to use your EUR e-mail address to create a RefWorks account. When you loose the access to the e-mail address, you might also loose access to your RefWorks account - you will not be able to reset your password.
- When you go to study or work at another university, check which reference manager they support. If this is RefWorks, the helpdesk of RefWorks might be able to move your EUR ProQuest RefWorks-account to an account of the other university. If it's not RefWorks, you can consider moving your references to the supported reference manager.
- When you use ProQuest RefWorks, you can in the setting of your account change your 'Role' into 'Alumni', and also update your e-mail address. This alumni account will be valid as long as the EUR subscribes to RefWorks.
